Wayfinding says a lot about how our cities are planned or not at all. In India, the plethora of signage gives an indication of the lack of city planning — so much so — that even Google Maps can only go that far.
Ultimately, its about interacting with passersby on the street to help locate the destination. Wayfinding in the public urban markets and commercial centers have become challenging due the number of signs and arrows pointing in all sort of directions.
